1. Silicone printing and silicone heat transfer

Silicone printing is to add silicone to the printing paste and print the pattern on the textile by screen printing.

Heat transfer printing is to print the pattern and the rubber print together on the heat transfer paper, and then transfer the pattern to the clothes with high temperature and pressure.

2. Process

Silicone printing requires printing the prepared printing paste on the textile through a customized screen. The printing paste will form a soft printing layer on the textile, while maintaining its bright colors and not easy to fall off.

Heat transfer requires printing the pattern and rubber print on the heat transfer paper first, and then transferring the pattern to the textile by high temperature and high pressure. This method can transfer the details and colors of the pattern more accurately.

3. Printing effect

Heat transfer can transfer more detailed and textured patterns to textiles than silicone printing. It can print tiny details and richer colors on the pattern while maintaining the long-term durability of the pattern.

Silicone printing is more suitable for large-area patterns than thermal transfer because it can form a thick and soft printing layer. The color of silicone printing is also more prominent, suitable for large-scale customized printing.

4. Comparison of advantages and disadvantages

The advantage of thermal transfer technology is that it can achieve high-precision, colorful, and multi-variety printing, and can be used on textiles of more colors. Silicone printing is more suitable for some fabrics that need to maintain flexibility and prevent peeling, and can more easily achieve large-area printing.
